Internet publications are predicated on copy heavy articles, so these could not be entirely excluded from a console version of the publication. Therefore, along side the primary content of video and audio, we would use article snippets, supported by rich imagery and hyperlinks to the web browser, as the solution to the text issue. This would provide the 10-foot experience we were aiming for while staying true to an internet publication's goals.
Then we decided to take it a step further. Using daily activity sites like Sosh as inspiration, a 'music digest' app was created, with multiple daily editions, location based content and social integration. This new app would aggregate content and provide an experience aimed at you, your friends and your city.
